Bauxite is a naturally occurring ore that serves as the primary source of aluminum. It is a mixture of various hydrated aluminum oxides, clay minerals, and impurities, with the main constituent being the mineral gibbsite (Al(OH)3). Bauxite deposits are typically found in tropical or subtropical regions.  

Alumina powder refers to a finely ground form of aluminum oxide (Al2O3). It is produced by various methods, including the calcination of aluminum hydroxide or the high-temperature processing of bauxite ore, which is the primary source of aluminum.

Tabular corundum is a specific form of corundum characterized by its tabular or platy crystal structure. It is produced by a high-temperature sintering process that involves tabular alumina as the main raw material. Tabular alumina consists of nearly pure, large, flat, and plate-like corundum crystals.

Dense corundum refers to a form of corundum that has a high density and excellent mechanical properties. Corundum is a crystalline form of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), which is one of the hardest materials known. It occurs naturally in the form of precious gemstones such as ruby and sapphire.
