Nov 08, 2023

031. Ceramic fiber module/refractory ceramic fiber module

Refractory ceramic fiber (026) products made into kiln structural components.

032. Ceramic fiber paper/refractory ceramic fiber paper

Flexible refractory ceramic fiber (026) products made according to papermaking technology.

033. Ceramic fiber rope/refractory ceramic fiber rope

Refers to a rope that is twisted, tied or sleeved with refractory ceramic fiber (026) with or without other filaments, threads or yarns.

034. Ceramic fiber tape/ceramic fiber textile/refractory ceramic fiber tape/refractory ceramic fiber textile

Refers to ribbon products woven with refractory ceramic fiber (026) with or without other filaments, threads or yarns.

035.ceramic fiber yarn/refractory ceramic fiber yarn

Refers to continuous thin strands twisted with refractory ceramic fiber (026) with or without reinforcing filaments.

036. Chemical bond chemical bond

The bond (013) formed by hardening is produced through a chemical reaction (not a hydration reaction) at room temperature or higher, including inorganic bonding or inorganic/organic composite bonding.

037. Chromite

The main component is a cubic crystal structure formed by chromium trioxide, divalent and trivalent iron and other metal oxides, and its chemical composition is suitable for use as raw materials for refractory materials (108).

038. Chromite refractory

Refractory materials (108) with chromium trioxide content (mass fraction) greater than or equal to 30% and magnesium oxide content (mass fraction) less than 30% with chromite (037) as the main raw material.

039. Closed pores

The pores enclosed inside the refractory material (108) cannot be filled with liquid when immersed in liquid according to the conditions specified in gb/t 2997-2000.

040. Closed porosity

The ratio of the volume of closed pores (039) in the refractory material (108) to the total volume (018), expressed as a percentage.

041. Coating

The spreadable amorphous refractory material (138), which is a mixture of fine refractory aggregate (003) and binder (010), generally has a higher water or other liquid content than the joint material (077). Note 1: The bonding form can be ceramic bonding (025), hydration bonding (074), chemical bonding (036) or organic bonding (094). Apply by hand brushing or painting, pumping, or mechanical projection or spraying. Note 2: Other types of coatings can be applied using special techniques, such as flame or ion spraying on refractory parts. These refractory parts are generally high-tech ceramic materials rather than refractory materials.

042. Cold compressive strength/cold crushing strength

The ultimate pressure that the refractory material (108) can withstand per unit area before failure occurs when pressurized according to specified conditions at room temperature.

043. Consistency

A measure of the flow performance of unshaped refractory materials under the action of their own weight and external force after adding water or other liquid binders.

044. Corner defect

Broken corners of shaped refractory products. The missing angle is represented by the sum of the dimensions of the three sides.

045. Corrosion

Surface erosion caused by the chemical action of external media.

046. Crater

The maximum diameter, minimum diameter and depth of the depression formed by melting the brick (014) surface can be measured.

047. Creep/creep in compression

Isothermal deformation of refractory materials (108) over time under certain stress.

048. Dead-burned

A heat treatment of alkaline refractory raw materials to reduce their reactivity with moisture or carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and improve their stability.

049. Deflocculant/deflocculanting agent

Additives that can disperse fine powder in materials and avoid agglomeration.

050. Deflocculated castable

Add at least one anti-flocculating agent (049) and a hydrated bonded (074) refractory castable (109) containing more than 2% ultrafine powder (less than 1 pm).
